The VeriGoldTM Free Prostate-Specific Antigen (fPSA) Rapid Test is a chromatographic immunoassay developed for the quantitative detection of free prostate-specific antigen (fPSA) in human serum or plasma. The assay is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostic use in clinical laboratories, healthcare facilities, and physician offices. | Mechanism | The assay is based on a sandwich chromatographic immunoassay principle, where free PSA present in the sample binds to labeled anti-fPSA antibodies during capillary migration through the membrane.
