VeriLumenTM cTnI+BNP+D-Dimer

The VeriLumenTM Cardiac Troponin I, B-Type Natriuretic Peptide & D-Dimer Rapid Test is a fluorescence immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI), B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), and D-dimer in human whole blood or plasma samples. These biomarkers are associated with different cardiovascular and thrombotic conditions, allowing simultaneous assessment of myocardial injury, cardiac dysfunction, and coagulation activity. The assay provides rapid quantitative results to support timely clinical evaluation in laboratory and point-of-care settings.

cTnI is primarily used in the clinical assessment and auxiliary diagnosis of myocardial infarction, while BNP is commonly used in the evaluation of heart failure and cardiac stress. D-dimer is widely used in the assessment of coagulation and thrombotic disorders, including disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), thrombolytic therapy monitoring, and evaluation of suspected venous thromboembolic conditions. Combined quantitative measurement of these three biomarkers supports comprehensive cardiovascular assessment when interpreted together with clinical findings and other diagnostic information.

Detection Method Quantitative fluorescence immunochromatography
Antibody Format Multiplex / sandwich
Signal Generation Fluorescence signal (fluorescent-labeled immunochromatography)
Reading Method Instrument-based
Mechanism The assay is based on a multiplex fluorescence immunochromatographic sandwich principle, in which cardiac troponin I (cTnI), B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), and D-dimer present in the sample bind to their respective specific fluorescently labeled antibodies during capillary migration along the membrane. The resulting antigen–antibody complexes are captured at separate immobilized test regions, and the fluorescence signals are measured independently and correlated with the concentrations of cTnI, BNP, and D-dimer in the specimen.
