VeriLumenTM N末端前B型利钠肽原

The VeriLumenTM NT-proBNP Rapid Test is a fluorescence immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in human whole blood, plasma, or serum samples. NT-proBNP is an inactive cleavage fragment released from proBNP in parallel with BNP in response to ventricular wall stress and volume overload. It is widely used in the clinical evaluation of heart failure and provides complementary information to BNP measurement. The assay provides rapid quantitative results to support timely clinical assessment in laboratory and point-of-care settings.

NT-proBNP is commonly used in structured diagnostic and laboratory-based evaluation of heart failure, particularly where standardized measurement and longer analyte stability are preferred. It is frequently applied in centralized laboratory workflows and supports diagnostic assessment and risk evaluation in patients with suspected heart failure. Quantitative NT-proBNP measurement supports clinical evaluation when interpreted together with clinical findings and other diagnostic information.

Detection Method Quantitative fluorescence immunochromatography
Antibody Format Monoclonal / sandwich
Signal Generation Fluorescence signal (fluorescent-labeled immunochromatography)
Reading Method Instrument-based
Mechanism The assay is based on a fluorescence immunochromatographic sandwich principle, in which N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) present in the sample binds to specific fluorescently labeled anti–NT-proBNP antibodies during capillary migration along the membrane. The resulting antigen–antibody complexes are captured by immobilized antibodies at the test region, and the fluorescence signal is measured and correlated with the NT-proBNP concentration in the specimen.
