VeriLumenTM 白介素-6
The VeriLumenTM IL-6 Rapid Test is an in vitro fluorescence immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of interleukin-6 (IL-6) in human whole blood, plasma, or serum. IL-6 is a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in immune regulation and inflammatory response, and its levels may increase significantly during infection, sepsis, tissue injury, autoimmune disorders, and systemic inflammation. The fluorescence-based assay provides rapid and sensitive quantitative results to support timely clinical evaluation in laboratory and point-of-care settings.
This test is intended to assist in the assessment of inflammatory and infectious conditions, supporting clinical evaluation and patient management decisions when interpreted together with clinical findings and other laboratory data. Quantitative IL-6 measurement may also aid in monitoring inflammatory progression and response to treatment in acute care settings.

| Notes on Handling | Specimens should be collected and handled using standard laboratory procedures. Use fresh samples when possible and avoid hemolyzed, lipemic, or contaminated specimens. |
| Detection Method | Quantitative fluorescence immunochromatography |
| Antibody Format | Monoclonal / sandwich |
| Signal Generation | Fluorescence signal (fluorescent-labeled immunochromatography) |
| Reading Method | Instrument-based |
| Mechanism | The assay is based on a fluorescence immunochromatographic sandwich principle, in which Interleukin-6 (IL-6) present in the sample binds to specific fluorescently labeled antibodies during migration along the membrane by capillary action. The resulting antigen–antibody complexes are captured by immobilized antibodies at the test line, and the fluorescence signal intensity is measured and correlated with the IL-6 concentration in the specimen. |
