VeriGoldTM 粪便隐血
The VeriGoldTM Fecal Occult Blood (FOB) Rapid Test is an immunochromatographic assay designed for the qualitative detection of human fecal occult blood in stool samples. It is based on the specific reaction between hemoglobin in the sample and targeted antibodies on the test strip, enabling rapid visual interpretation at the point of care.
This test is commonly used as a screening aid for gastrointestinal bleeding, which may be associated with conditions such as colorectal cancer, polyps, or other gastrointestinal disorders. As a qualitative test, results indicate the presence or absence of occult blood and should be followed up with further clinical investigation when positive.

| Sample Volume | Please refer to Collection Method |
| Collection Method | - Collect stool using the sampling stick from three different sites of the specimen and place into the extraction buffer (1.5 mL). - Mix thoroughly. - Add 3 drops (~100 µL) of the extracted sample to the test device. |
| Sample Stability | Stable for testing within 1 hour at room temperature (as validated) |
| Acceptable Anticoagulants | Not applicable |
| Notes on Handling | Specimens should be collected and handled using standard laboratory procedures. Use fresh samples when possible and avoid hemolyzed, lipemic, or contaminated specimens. |
| Detection Method | Immunochromatography |
| Antibody Format | Monoclonal / sandwich |
| Signal Generation | Colloidal gold |
| Reading Method | Visual / instrument-based |
| Mechanism | The assay is based on an immunochromatographic lateral flow principle, where human hemoglobin in the stool sample binds to specific anti-hemoglobin antibodies conjugated to a detection label. The antigen–antibody complexes migrate along the membrane by capillary action and are captured by immobilized antibodies at the test line, producing a visible signal indicating the presence of fecal occult blood. |
