VeriGoldTM 轮状病毒与腺病毒
The VeriGoldTM Rotavirus & Adenovirus Rapid Test is a qualitative in-vitro immunochromatographic assay for the rapid detection of rotavirus and adenovirus antigens in human fecal samples. Rotavirus and adenovirus are common causes of acute gastroenteritis, particularly in infants and young children. This test is intended to support the detection of rotavirus and adenovirus infections in individuals with suspected acute gastroenteritis.
As a qualitative test, results are reported as positive or negative, allowing rapid decision-making at the point of care or in the laboratory without the need for specialized equipment. With results available in 15–20 minutes from a fecal sample, the Rotavirus & Adenovirus Rapid Test supports timely clinical assessment and patient management in pediatric wards, emergency departments, and outpatient clinics.

| Mechanism | The assay is based on a dual immunochromatographic lateral flow principle, in which rotavirus and adenovirus antigens present in the fecal sample bind to their respective specific labeled antibodies during migration along the membrane by capillary action. The resulting antigen–antibody complexes are captured at separate test regions by immobilized antibodies specific to each virus, producing visible signals indicating the presence of rotavirus and/or adenovirus antigens in the specimen. |
