VeriGoldTM 轮状病毒
The VeriGoldTM Rotavirus Rapid Test is a qualitative in-vitro immunochromatographic assay for the rapid detection of rotavirus antigens in human fecal samples. Rotavirus is a leading cause of acute gastroenteritis, particularly in infants and young children. The test is intended to support the detection of adenovirus infection in individuals with acute gastroenteritis.
As a qualitative test, results are reported as positive or negative, allowing rapid decision-making at the point of care or in the laboratory without the need for specialized equipment. With results available in 15–20 minutes from a fecal sample, the Rotavirus Rapid Test supports timely clinical assessment and patient management in pediatric wards, emergency departments, and outpatient clinics.

| Collection Method | - Collect stool using the sampling stick from three different sites of the specimen and place into the extraction buffer (1.5 mL). - Mix thoroughly. - Add 3 drops (~100 µL) of the extracted sample to the test device. |

| Mechanism | The assay is based on an immunochromatographic lateral flow principle, in which rotavirus antigens present in the stool sample bind to specific labeled antibodies during migration along the membrane by capillary action. The resulting antigen–antibody complexes are captured by immobilized antibodies at the test line, producing a visible signal indicating the presence of rotavirus antigen in the specimen. |
